A hard life seems to bring more purpose and raise determination. It might be argued that its a more fulfilling life as well, always having to deal with new problems and tasks.
In movies people with hard lives are always more interesting and inspiring.
An easy life on the other hand gives you time to realize how pointless existence is.
It so often has no real purpose. But it gives you time for introspection, time to better understand yourself and your surroundings. Maybe even find harmony in the truth.
What do you think?
Is it better to live a hard or an easy life?

Its a tough choice but harder seems better. You will build more character and gradually become better at everything you do because of the effort you put into the work that you do. It will make you strong emotionally mentally and physically. But easy is basically a good grades kid who may sit at home all day and have a job on his or her computer. Although this seems to pay off in the long run.
AN ANCIENT proverb says: “Do not toil to gain riches. Cease from your own understanding. Have you caused your eyes to glance at it, when it is nothing? For without fail it makes wings for itself like those of an eagle and flies away toward the heavens.” (Proverbs 23:4, 5) In other words, it is not wise to wear ourselves out trying to become rich, for wealth can fly away as on an eagle’s wings.
A life devoid of spiritual values is unsatisfying. In his famous Sermon on the Mount, Jesus Christ showed how to experience lasting happiness. He said: “Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.” (Matthew 5:3) Clearly, then, it is wise to put spiritual matters first in life
Life is a cycle, we go through a hard life or easy life depending on our Karma, or our past actions. It hardly matters because a hard life is good in many ways, but as a hard life consumes us, it doesn't let us stop to realize the Truth. When we let go of the so-called race, of the chase to be an ace then we escape from the myth that success is happiness and we step back, we take an exit from the journey of achievement, to try to start a journey called the journey of enlightenment. Ultimately if we want to be happy we must get out of this chase and live with contentment, with peace. But we must go one step further to understand the purpose of life - who are we, and why are we here?
