The traditional Indian education was better than any in the world.

The oldest universities of the world like Patali Putra and 
Taksha Sila are located in India. Scholars from far east and
Europe came here for higher knowledge.

We can't point out any one of the education system in particular. Both have its own advantages as well as disadvantages. When the Indian education system give more priority to the theoretical knowledge, foreign education system provides more practical knowledge.
