Hello, i've been considering buying houses, fixing them up and selling them. What i wanted to do however is sell them myself without an agent. Has anyone done this who can give me some insight on how possible it is? I'm in the Illinois area and i'm also thinking of using nomoreagent.com to help me post the house up everywhere. Finishing a house up soon. I'm trying to decide if I could pull this off without an agent or not. Any info would help thanks in advance.

Not even close to true. There are statistics that show an agent sells their own home for much more on average than clients (proving they could get more but they settle). Also, an agent's commission doesn't change much if the selling price is $10k different so they're more likely to push the buyer to sell in order to get their commission sooner. A seller on their own has more reason to get that extra $10k. Agents are bad.
