Is facebook turnning off?

It's not shutting down. This is a hoax that people used to play with Hotmail too, from someone attention-deprived seeing if they could start something that they would see some big results from.

Any internet companies would pray for 'too many users'. Each user is more money in their pockets.

Attention deprivation is also the motivation for computer hackers who can't find a more helpful way to make people take notice of them.
