This site was advertised on huffingtonpost.com as a place to bid on merchandise that has been obtained from store closings and discount warehouses. It sounds almost to good to be true. When you sign up the last thing they ask before is your credit card, which scared me, although I suppose is necessary. I decided to put off my registration, but would like to know if it is an ethical or legitimate site.

This happened to me as well, but I think this person put it well on the "pissed consumer" web page. I read more than a dozen similar complaints and many worse about failure to ship products. I hate to admit it, but I failed to read the fine print too and got scammed $60+.
BidRack.com charged me 99$ without my consent
Bidrack Complaint by Stane77
While registering on BidRack.com web site (2011-05-11), where the registration is supposed to be free, I was charged for credits that I didn't buy (175 "bidpacks" for 99 USD). In fact, I discovered later, by simulating the registration process, that the credit buy option was already preselected, and the web page is very misleading, drawing your attention to irrelative details, while the table with preselected option is leaved small and rather discreet on the bottom of the page, almost below the credit card data form, pretty small regarding other details on the page, while this is supposed to be the most important thing. Other details on page mislead a customer, as small titles, a lot of irrelevant images of strong colors, non important details... leading you directly to the beginning of the form, while you don't see the preselected credits that you are about to by. In fact, the web page makes you believe that your are finalizing your registration, while in fact you are about to by the credits that you don't want. The company is refusing to refund, stating that I agreed to the term and conditions, and have by that accepted the contract. They say that their policy is strict, and there are no refunds at all. There are no more answering my e-mails. Yes, I agreed to the terms, but I didn't agree to by, actually, I was mislead to buy. I found out lately, searching the internet, that there are a lot of people which had the same experience. The company has already an F note on www.bbb.org web site (The Better Business Bureau of the United States and Canada), where I have also complained.
If this site is legit how come I cannot even login to it anymore and if you do a search and try that way it still does not work. Out $99 like everyone else. When first got in it showed cameras, ipods and such, later only cheap junk
Legit, yo!
