Is a power steering pressure switch the same part as an oil pressure switch for a Mitsubishi Galant?

I was told by mechanic that I need a new power steering pressure switch for my Mitsubishi Galant 2003.
They cannot find it anywhere and I looked and could not  find the part.

I noticed some people list the power steering pressure switch together with oil pressure switch like this for example "SWITCH,P/S OIL PRESSURE".

My question is can I use an oil pressure switch which is easily obtained, for the power steering pressure switch?

no you con not use oil prssure switch. the power steering switch is on the power sterring pump. see if you can see a wire that plugs into the power steering pump if so you will find the switch..the switch #4450a017v on ebay price $41.21.
