If that includes transportation and the entry fee to enter the swim meets and meals and other expenses then yes. In today's world it cost money for everything. At meets it pay judges swim meet staff score keepers and the cost of use of the swimming pool. Plus the coaches need be paid. Yea it be nice if all our kids sports be free . But the sponsorships just aren't there these days . So parents have to pick up the costs of everything. People can't afford to volunteer anymore, so to put these events on and coaches our youth it costs money. The better the program the more it costs the parents to enroll there kids into these sports and activities. . With that said. If you still got to pay additional event entry fee and pay transportation to the meets and you belief the swim program not best or help your child grow and improve there swimming skills. Then no it not worth it. When you break it down that is $54 per month $12 per week . And if that 2 to 3 practices per week then that like $4 - $6 per practice or class. . Our local swim pool charges $5 just to go swimming per day pass. . No coaches or staff to teach them. . A swim team staff need make money also. So if that price includes the admittance fee to go swimming and practices that good deal. . But that just the costs here where I'm living. . Oh I have a fitness club membership I pay $80 per month. . And I got to pay $50 per hr for a trainer. And pay for all classes I join is extra costs. . It up to you when it comes down to it.
I'm curious is that only 2 to 3 practices or classes total over 5 months ??. If that is correct then that swim program not good. . And is this thru the school or fitness club. . ??
