.....many months back I was on my blue iPod 5th generation and texting someone. in the middle of me talking the bottom of the screen started having lines so i stopped and waited. the lines went away a few hours later. a little while later i came back and the whole screen turned purple. A light did show a little on the top left corner of the screen and then a couple months ago the screen went fully black. I plugged it into my computer and it turned on. i know it works because a huge single purple line shines down it. i have an iPad mini and when i get notifications the screen lightens up a little and the lines appears then if i hit the power button the iPod turns off. i can't figure out what to do!! I'm out of my warranty!
