Iphone 6s storage problem? it seems that sth is wrong. 51Gb is written but really it's sth else?

Hi, i bought a second hand iPhone 6s, it shows 51 GB free space when checking through General, About but 
When checking through general, usage, storage, total space is 1.00 Gb.
When i want to download sth, it says
"Low storage space"

No iPhone has that much storage space, they simply don't exist. I think you've bought a dud or been conned. Heck, even android phones with an SD slot don't usually go above 32gb.
