My iPhone 6 died and I sent my young son to put it to charge (it was dumb of me & don't ask his age) anyway about 10 minutes or so later I go to the bathroom and I see it sitting up right in the TOLIET !!!! The water only got about 1-2 cm above the home button so it wasn't fully submerged or even half way for that matter .....

So I dried it off and put it into rice completely for about another 10 -15 minutes and took it out ... I pressed the power button and it still read connect to charger so I did that and it began to charge ....about 5 minutes into that the screen went blank for about a minute and died again.... I put it back on the charger and nothing popped up so I took it out and started to blow dry it until it was completely dry ( or so I hope ) and I occasionally tried plugging it back to see if it charged and still nothing....

I've decided to just let it be until maybe time or the day after but what are the chances that this phone is done forever ???
*bottom of the phone submerged
* several attempts at drying and charging
* I've had this phone for only 3 weeks tops , smh please help with any tips or advice or success stories!!!!

Thank you !!!
