For my sociology class we have to come up some interview questions to see how the family has changed over the last 50 years. We need to find out the structure of the family, gender roles and how views on childhood have changed etc. Any suggestions??
Also, questions about how the education system has changed over the last 50 years.
Views on childhood: You might ask about how old a child needed to be to work/# of hours a child could work, how old a child needed to be to walk to the store/park/school alone.
Education system: You might ask what topics were studied at school (like handwriting, civics, and home economics), the types of punishment doled out (like whippings), and the use of abacuses to count with.
