Hi, I'm 16 years old and I have a job interview tomorrow. It's pretty informal, I think. I'm applying to be a cashier at a grocery store. I was just wondering what types of questions they might ask. Thanks!
Interview questions?

They may be interested to know:
1. Do you like working with people?
2. How do you handle stress?
3. Can you make change if the registers are down? (How’s your basic math)
4. Are you easy to get along with?
5. Why do you want to work there?
6. Why they should hire you?
These are fairly common questions at interviews.
Lots of interviews start with, “Tell me about yourself.” It’s tempting to start telling things like your age or where you go to school, but don’t do that, because that info is already on your application. Stick with mentioning your qualities that will show them you are perfect for the job.
For example, tell them, “Well, I’m a happy person, and I like people. I’m easy to get a long with, don’t stress too much under pressure and I’m honest.”
Someone who says that will get the job quicker than anyone else, because employers can train you on a cash register, but they can’t train someone on kindness and honesty. That has to come from the heart. Good luck!
