You violated the terms of service somehow. You just did. They don't disable accounts on a whim, what probably happened is someone complained, an Admin had a look at your stuff, agree and shut you out. The only thing you can do know is either take it to court (expensive and futile) or write a letter to instagram asking for details of what you've done wrong and go from there. It may be as simple as agreeing to delete any offensive images and "promising" not to do it again.
Your friends can still see your stuff because you signed away all rights to it when you signed their EULA (End User License Agreement). They will not delete your account as they can't without your permission BUT they can prevent you from accessing it as that is their right, again, see the EULA.
It's frustrating and it sucks and I'm sure you feel you've done nothing wrong but.. they do and that's that. If it really really upsets you talk to your lawyer and see what he/she says.
At the end of the day the only thing I can see you doing is making a new account and starting again..
You have a good day, glad I could help :)
I was confused and i did not know what to do. Thank you so much Milanser!
