I work part time at WalMart and I noticed something about Indian people as a group. They are often very meticulous about which light bulbs to buy. They often spend as much time as an hour or more deciding about soft light or clear light, standard or cfl etc. It is very curious because as a whole I've never noticed this trait in others. Is it some sort of cultural thing? Does anyone know?

not to stereotype, but indian people are meticulous in all their purchases. they come from a place where bargaining is a part of the buying process. they compare prices and consider quality more deeply than americans. if you follow them around the store, i'd bet you see them contemplating other items in a similar fashion
