I have looked across the internet and have found varying answers. Some say that it was Old English whilst others say it was Early Modern English and there have even been some that say they spoke Shakespearean but Shakespeare himself wasn't born until the 1560's. My interest lies around 20 years before his birth.
With the varying answers I have found does this mean that the answer is still disputed?
