In welding environments, why is selection of color is important?

Because you want the colors to match and look well with the flowers and decorations. I wouldn’t want to get married without any colors. That would just make you look boring and not very fun to hang around with.

If you mean arc welding, the rods are identified by two colored dots on the end and the side. Each combination of colors applies to a particular type of rod and you must select a rod for the type of joint and adjust your system for the rod you use. If you don't adjust correctly you get lousy welds.
