Increased competition and complexity of the offer require managers to look forward into the future, understand future needs and formulate the strategic intent of an organization so that it positions itself in the poll-position to win in the future. Further, leaders need to be inspirational for people - organizations need the most talented people to be able to compete and highly qualified human resource is scarce as there are plenty of opportunities on the market for them. managers will hire people but leaders will make people want to work for his organization.
