I bought new replacement appliances. I am being charged sales tax on labor, even though labor is optional and stated separately and is being performed by a separate installation company. Should I be charged sales tax on this labor? This applies to Microwave oven and dishwasher. I am not being charged sales tax on refrigerator and stove.
