hi, i am adopting a kitten, but the only way to get the kitten home is by plane. we do plan on taking the kitten on board so she may sit in our laps, but she has a cold/eye infection, is this cold she has going to effect/harm her in anyway?

Call the airline first and ask for the requirements. They may require a vet's certificate that costs about $50. Also you will need a carrier that goes under the seat, the cat cannot be in your laps. They might not allow an eye infection on the plane. Next call a vet in the area and ask the vet to evaluate the safety for the cat's eyes. You could adopt a cat near your home which would be less traumatic to the pet.
yes,i now it wold be easier to get the kitten near me but i am attached! i just need to now will the pressure be to much on the plane?
