I’m 17 and I am REALLY skinny due to a high metabolism. I am also REALLY weak and that makes it hard to do the exercises. I don’t like being so thin. It makes me feel inferior to the rest of the guys, not to mention damaging to my confidence on dates. I haven’t got much equipment or much money to spend. I have some small dumbbells and that’s pretty much it. I don’t feel comfortable going to the gym because I am self conscious at the moment. Once I become more fit and toned I will most defiantly join a gym. Until then, can someone help me by giving me some muscle building exercises I can do? Also what to eat to help me put on some muscle weight? A whole workout plan would be much appreciated!!

The whole Idea abt becoming fit is going to the gym. How many others have said I am too fat and when I loose weight I will feel better abt going to the gym because I am so self-conscious . That theory never works because when you make excuses of any kind you will never progress. "Suck it up" go to the gym. Have them start you out with an exercise program after the evaluate you that can get you started in the right direction. They will evaluate your eating habits, advise you on the best kind of diet based on your likes, dislikes. Start you on a routine that won't kill you and help you start building stamina. You will be fine. The accomplishment far out way the little time where you feel uncomfortable - trust me!!!!
