I'm 18 and my biggest dream and the thing I've always loved to do is both singing and rapping. However, my family is strict and traditional and I just feel a constant wall of brick that I have to break through whenever I want to sing, when my parents and the oldest brother are at home. Plus the rooms are weakly built so you can really loudly and clear hear everything from every place here (for example I'm upstairs right now but I hear them talking downstairs, even though my door is closed). I'm really scared of being judged by them. They'd rather see me get a "normal" job, education and live a typical 9-5 life, not pursuing my dreams. Has anyone went through a similar situation and has any ideas what to do? Thanks.

rapping and singing is normal job, you may have to be introduced gradually to your family, try to bring a magazine about rap music to your home and put it in the living room, so that other family members know little about rap music .. furthermore try to joke with rap music tones to your family .. I hope you find the best solution for your hobby it ..
