... incarcerated and me and him have been married and was told that I would watch the benefits for him and help him out while he is in there can I legally continue to get his benefits I would think cause I have no other income and is with middle flint bevorial healthcare center and I am it patient but I think since we are married and all of the I'm entitled it can I continue to get it

Im understanding that a person who is in jail can't get benefits the only way you could get the benefits is if they belong to you not him. If they belong to him you can't but neither would be able to get those benefits if you apply for supplemental security income you can draw that because you have autism.You have no income you have to apply for those thou you might have to call and see if you can get those benefits of his while he is in jail.
If he applys for it but then agian if hes in jail they won't give it to him cause he is in jail someone who has jail time they don't let them draw ssi he can start it agian after he gets out.

I know what your saying how long is he in jail for you have to report that he is in jail and not in the house some one who is jail isn't entitled to draw ssi if he is in jail thats the law but you can apply for your self
