I'm a female jazz vocalist. I've been asked by the group to prepare to answer some questions, and I'm confused.
1. I have to understand the form of the song. What specifically do they mean?
2. I will have a concept for the song, not the way every other vocalist sings it. Does that mean they think I try to mimic another vocalists style?
I'm hoping you can explain to me what they mean.
