We have been dating for almost one year her parents won't let us date she comes over sometimes to my house but I want to go to her house and go on dates and not have to keep it a secret. I have asked her to talk to me about telling her parents. But she won't listen. Her parents reason for not letting us date is our age she will be 18 in April I will be 17 in April but I'm in tenth grade she's a senior so she leaves to college after this school year and I want the most time with her while I still have it. Idk what to do I need help I want to do stuff with her but I cant. What do I do I don't want to break up. I love her. Help me please. Thank you

My girlfriend is against telling her parents and or sitting with them and talking to them about it. Her parents don't want her saying before she leaves for college they think it's not smart.

i know you want to date her go to her house and spend time with her and all the stuff that is involved in a relationship but sense she is almost 18 and your almost 18 in april i would want to think about a good way to approach it age is also a miss fire so to speak you can basically date and all that and make your own decisions when your 18 anyway and your still doing it as far as dating i would have you both sit down and talk to her parents cause they must be old fashioned so to speak you don't have to break up but because your 16 and she is really 17 you will have to see what you can work out when she turns 18 parents always think they know what is better and they don't really realize what their saying and doing but think they know whats best just schedule time with where you can and thats how you will have to do things if they don't want to see your point you can wait till shes 18 unless they change their minds
