So my name is Murphy and I'm going to a pre-school year meet and greet kinda thing and I have no problems with that other than being nervous and my name (Murphy)

There's absolutely nothing wrong with your name. Embrace it. I people have a problem with it, you'll soon realise they're not true friends and you stay clear from them. You'll find people that will become your close friends and they wouldn't care if your name was dog poop. They're your true friends. Don't ever be ashamed of your name, honestly there's more important things in life. :) it's a lovely name
