I'm young and full of ambition, I want to be able to afford a home and live comfortable. I'm 26, with 3 children, making 18.50 hourly. current employer offers to pay tuition and yearly raise. most of my work experience is warehouse environment, inventory, quality and distribution. I'm thinking of joining the national guard, with a focus in distribution or financial work. something that will boost my chances of making 20+ hourly and land me a manager job. Would it benefit me to join the guard? anyone with military experience? any advice would be appreciated.

This is what one soldier had to say: "That night the dead, many of whom were my close friends, were wrapped in canvas and weighted, and, after a few words that were of very little comfort, we let the bodies slip into the gray sea. The war had already taught me to hate the enemy. This dreadful slaughter made me feel even more bitter".
As much as humans may want to see the end of war, they themselves simply do not know how to achieve it. The end of man’s selfish political kingdoms, or governments, will make way for the complete fulfillment of the hope-inspiring words of Psalm 46:8-10, when war will cease. You may not have to be involved in combat but even so emotionally devastating. $18.00 per hour is a great wage. Why not work towards getting promotion in your job or take a course in a skill to earn more money.
