If you're willing to wait a while, for every minute you walk each day for a year is a pound of weight lost, so if you walk 30 minutes a day for a year you'll lose about 30 pounds. Not very hard or time-consuming. Also, dieting isn't necessarily the right thing to do, it's more about being balanced with what you eat. Try cutting out things like condiments from you meals, that will cut out several hundred calories a day. Also, fiber could be your new best friend. If you feel like eating a lot, eat a regular sized meal but eat some high fiber food as well, or even take a fiber supplement. Fiber contributes no additional calories and can't be digested by the body, so it helps you keep full. And you don't have to give up foods you like, you just need to eat less. I mean, there was a guy who ate only mcdonalds for a whole year and ended up losing 70 pounds. If you haven't already you may want to meet with a dietrician, and get on a personal plan. And most important of all, don't give up. Your weight is no reason to feel less confident about yourself, because it's just your physical appearance. There's no quick fix to obesity, so you have to stick with it. Good luck!
