I used to dance when I were younger, I used to be able to do flips and tricks and I was incredibly flexible. I'm a male, 17, and wanting to continue my dance that I began and ended when I was younger. I've gained weight, not a lot (could loose it in a month) and I was wondering if this is too late to start dancing as a career/job/professionally.

Hello. I started dancing to Traditional Jazz when I was 17. I danced my last show doing West Side Story when I was 39. To dance professionally requires a great deal of effort and discipline. If you lose weight you need to remember to keep the weight off. Do weight training. Because to lift a female in dance requires technique and muscle. You will need to diet. Get yourself a training Mentor, and learn all types of dance. There is plenty of info on the net.
Thanks. I'm glad I can follow my career.
