I would like to know what kind of stuff I will be doing while working with a petroleum engineer? I really have no idea of what I am going to do once I start and I would like to have an idea of what to expect?

I'm going to assume you have never interviewed for a job before because of your age.
Learning lesson #1
Never accept a job without getting a written job description detailing what they want you to do.
Learning lesson #2
Never apply for a job until you know the skills they are asking for or expecting. How do you know you are qualified for this job?
Learning lesson #3
Match you skills and abilities to what the employer needs before you apply for a job.
Learning lesson #4
Find out the name of the company or type of business or individuals name and do your research online to see what they do. Ask questions about the job during the interview. If they are good interviewers they will ask if you have any. That's your time to ask and clarify and find out if they offer training and opportunity for eventual advancement.
What questions were you asked during the interview? Did they ask if you can keyboard and how fast or what computer programs you know? Were you asked about your math skills? Were you asked if you can do spreadsheets or do presentations? The questions you were asked should give you some idea what you need to know or are expected to do.
I have no clue what a petroleum engineer does and you should have asked. My wild guess is they travel a lot looking for sites to drill for oil. You could have said, "I have no idea what one does so how can I be of help to you in making your job easier?"
Good luck.
