1. Daily exercise. Something that involves running or swimming, e.g. kicking a ball around and chasing after it. Minimum 30 minutes per day, ideally more. Join clubs or make friends with people who do sports.
2. Be active in what you do. Learn to shake your foot restlessly while you are sitting (like tapping it but without creating noise). Walk instead of taking the car, use stairs instead of lifts. Walk quickly everywhere, like you are in a hurry.
3. Do something that gets you out of breath at least twice a day.
4. Eat healthy food. What's healthy food? Natural food that has as few ingredients in it as possible. Cut out most sugar, salt, sweet and fast-foods. Eat smaller portions of everything. Carbonated drinks such as cola just fill you with bubbles, cut them out. Fruit will help speed up the passage of food through your body, especially bananas.
5. Avoid sitting down as much as possible, stay on your feet.
6. Never give up or think you can't do it.
