Recently, I got into a relationship with a boy that I've known for a long time, but he is a year and a half older than me, he just turned 16. We genuinely love each other, and I think he's the one and our relationship will last. However, I've recently been talking with him on the fact that he will be a legal adult before I will, and neither of us know what will happen then. I'm not sure if my parents will want an 18 year old around their 16 year old daughter in 2 years. My sister hates him, but she's never met him and is known for prematurely judging. Will this affect our relationship in the future and what should I do when he turns 18?

I think it's fine, 1 1/2 years is not a huge age difference at all.  It'll be a little awkward of course at first but in time you'll wonder why you ever thought that way.

Not really , I think it would be socially acceptable since you're only separated by 2 years . 
If you are really worried, just make sure that when he turns 18 and if you two are intimate , that you don't tell the whole town.

You need to understand that most high school relationships do not work out . All you can is try after he is 18 be friends and let your sister get to know him and then take it from there.
