Hi, I'm 11 and I can't swim. I've been trying to, but my parents are always so busy and often can't take me to the pool. Now, they have found some time and want to enrol me in a class at Cisac. Problem is, I'm worried that I'll end up with kids WAY younger than me and that I'll be the youngest in the class. Do any of you guys go to Cisac swimming lessons, or know someone who does? If so, what age are they? Am I just really weird, or are there other kids my age who can't swim(Like at Cisac, coz I hate to be left out)

First of all let me tell you you shouldn't feel bad about it! And you most certainly are not the only one!! In fact;
'But the Red Cross says that more than half of all Americans (54 percent), and two-thirds of African-Americans (67 percent), cannot meet a basic set of water safety standards.
Simply put, most Americans can’t swim.'
Second of all there is a lot of information on the internet about your swimming classes. (Phone numbers, e-mails etc.)
Maybe you should talk to your parents about this and ask them if they can make a quick call asking this question for you.
I hope I helped out a bit.
The fact is you float -- you don't need to learn anything to do that. You only need to learn to breathe through your mouth, and if you get water in your mouth you just spit it out. That is all the learning I got, and then I had to cross a river (not alone), and after that I learned to swim by watching how other people did it in the public pool at the park. And yes, some people get into military without learning to swim.
