I don't want to be judge and If I was to meet someone and it was getting serious I would tell him until them I feel its ok to say I am not working and its personal...?
If your on disability and dating is it ok to say your not working and its private?

i think there is absolutely nothing wrong, with currently not having a job, or having a job other people maybe wont like. if you arent comfortable to tell someone, then dont. most people will understand, and like u said u will tell when when u feel comfortable, or maybe i misunderstood u. i think its okay to say it, but if you are dating someone for a while he might think u dont trust him
Why I ask this was cause I was going to go on Okcupid and usually guys ask what do you do for work..Instead of putting my whole life out there..I wouldn't lie but I would say I am not working right now and its private..So this way I am not lying but at the same time if I meet him and we go on a second date or 3rd then I would tell...Online dating trust me I have had people say they don't smoke and smoke or they smoke pot and say they don't do drugs or they don't drink and are alcoholics and they might say your lazy or think they have to take care of you but if they see how I live then they will see me and not label..
i think its a perfect way to deal with it, wait till you are comfortable with someone :) dont lie about it, just dont tell it until you want to, even if there is no shame in not working. i hope u find someone :*
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question..Yeah I think that's a good way to handle it..Now if it was something bad for example I was in jail or a recovering drug addict I would say something right away..But its nothing to do with that.. I just have some minor health issues and I don't want them to see that or assume things until they walk with me and talk with me in person and then like I said if we were to meet again I would tell him..I am a very honest person with nothing to hide but today with online dating you can't see that person and you can get the wrong image...Thanks I am not sure I will find someone dating has change but I was thinking of giving it another try since I been single now for years...

Yes I am very honest..I love who I am..I am not perfect (nor is anyone) But I am who I am and in tune with that...and I agree there is nothing wrong with being single..I love being single but yet I would love to have someone to share life with..Thanks
Thank you for your response...I don't think there is nothing wrong either but we live in a world that people will judge you before they get to know you and I was told by a professional to avoid all that..I could just say I am not working and its private..and if I meet a guy and we go out on a few dates then I can tell him...This way he see's me first and don't label me..
