I received the same anniversary card two years in a row from my husband. I asked for a new card and he stayed that I should be happy with the effort he put into buying a card for me and he refuses to buy a new card.
If your husband buys you the same anniversary card two years in a row, should he buy you a new one?

Today is our 7th anniversary and my husband did the exact same thing. Worse, I have the card from last year displayed on my desk in our den. At first I thought it was funny, then I was hurt, then I was angry. Now I'm processing...I'm kind of leaning this way though: give him a break, it has been a crazy couple of years and I know I'm not at the top of my game; why should I expect anyone else, even or especially my beloved. Good luck! Oh, and to those who think that everything is fine if someone just remembers, it isn't. Occasions such as anniversaries are a time to reaffirm the feelings we had originally and have evolved throughout the years.
