My friend is paying for a car that is provided by their parents but his parents threaten to take it away and give him all his money back. The car is still under the parents name but he's paying for the car and its payed off. Can they legally do that and if so, how can he avoid that from happening

no if its paid off they can't take the car i would get it out of his parents name because if its still in his parents name they can come get it cause their names on it. Wether its paid off or not if they want to be a pain he has to prove he owns it so i would get it out of their name asap.
