If you can afford it. I have a girlfriend and after I joined the Marines I would like to live with her and be a marine. I need to know if I could join, and be able to live at home after all my schooling.

Answer

No.  Life in the armed forces is indentured servitude (slavery).  If there's a "war", you can be forced to stay in even past your term.  So no, you will live where they put you.  And you'll die in whatever battle they put you in, defense of our nation or otherwise.
