If you have a felony on your juvenile record, can you still be a police officer?

In most states you cannot become a police officer if you have an adult criminal record. However, juvenile records are different as the courts and society usually tries to give younger people a second chance. They are usually sealed and not included in your permanent record if they occurred when you were under 18 at the time.
