If you had went into a coma for a year, what do you fear waking up to in terms of society?

The general concept is rather frightening, though I'm not sure how much would change in a year. If it was more then a year, I would be horrified of the world around me and eager to find somebody that remembers the time of the world I had last been in. It would be like I was alone, and I believe being mentally alone is worse than being physically alone.
