If you call the bank thinking someone stole your card but it turns out you were wrong what happens?

If someplace you bought something from used PayPal and you called the bank saying someone took your card bc you yourself don't have PayPal will they call back? There was a mistake that we solved but the bank may still be looking into this. Will they alert me that the payment was by me or will they just not say anything.
