Was it something your parents said? A personal experience? You're not sure why but for some reason it's a bad word? I would like your personal (and serious) recount of what made you have a negative feeling (if any) toward this term. Thanks! I'm looking for specific memories/incidents as to why you view the term feminism in a negative or positive light. Thanks!

In the 1900's feminism was indeed used to empower women. Feminism back then, was genuinely about equality. The thing about feminism in the 21st century, is that none of these women truly want equality. I say that, because men have never been represented, these women call all men rapists (even though men are being raped and sexually assaulted, and even though 49% are FEMALE perpetrators) etc. They claim that women face sexism and that the wage gap exists - pst, guess what! That wage gap is not a real thing. How hard you work determines the amount of money that you are paid, and statistics show that men would rather work overtime, while women would rather retreat home. These women claim to want equality, but they have never mentioned that men get 63% longer jail sentences for committing the EXACT same crime as a woman, women's charities are donated 15 times the amount that men's charities earn. In domestic violence shelters, less than 1% of spaces are for men. I'm sorry to say, but men have it harder than women and in modern day, Feminism is the definition of sexist. Peace.
