If we can see the moon in the daytime in the u.s., is there somewhere on earth the moon isn't shing?

yes, cos the earth is spherical or what geologists call geoid in shape where geoid means the earth shape.imagine u placing a round ball under a direct source of light,i am not certain you will expect all parts of the ball to recieve the source of light.if still confused check wikipedia.com
Yes maybe they are moon isn't really shining neither the sun it is just that the earth revolves to its axis that is also why we have day and night.In the moons case it not shining it is just sometimes outshine by the suns great lighting effect and yes there are probably places that the moon is it there it like this if you have a globe try putting the one side of it with a moon model then the other side cannot see the moon because it is day in that place
