If we are in moving bus then we are in motion or rest?

Everything is in motion with respect to something at all times. In layman's terms, if you are sitting in your seat and not moving around while riding the bus, you are at rest with respect to the bus, but also, the bus is at rest with respect to you. Modern science would say that you and the bus, the bus driver, and the other passengers are in co-moving frames of reference.
