If vehicles were made safer would all our road safety problems be solved?

Well, if you look at it from a certain point of view some would say 'yes, after all the cars have more features that make it safe on the road.'

But, there's also the problem of human error. People who drink before they drive, text while they drive, don't pay attention while they drive; those are the kinds of people who most often get into accidents. It's not just human error but also the environment. Like, if it was a rainy day, a truck might turn into another lane and crash into another car.

Unless if they were able to make cars (flawless with no mistakes) that can automatically operate and drive to the specified location without humans operating it, it seems less likely that the road will be completely safe of problems.

Well, maybe in the future this might be possible.

Vixxy. They already have self-driving cars and are already implementing this for personal use.
