"Our" universe expands at a rate that is slowing down but,at any given time it has reached a certain point of expansion. What is beyond that point?

Let's think this through:
Big bang is implied by
Receding galaxies, which are implied by
Doppler shift, which is caused by
Motion away from us, which is assumed from
Red shifted light
So we have this remarkable train of logic all based on a single phenomenon and an assumption. If that assumption is wrong then most of what we think we know about the universe ain't so. Well, Doppler effect is not the only cause of red shift.

Excellent Sir,thank you and may you live long, have a multitude of wives, scores of children and many cattle.Kind regards.
Do you always strive to make the last post, even when nothing more needs to be said?
Dear Sir,you asked me a question so now I should reply. Thank you for pointing out what my last 8 wives also commented on.Once again thank you for pointing out the flaws in my personality.I will now go and jump in front of a train.Kind regards.Over and out.
Sir,thank you for your response. However the question remains, and it leads us to support one of two theories. Those being Universe or Multi verse. Kind regards.
