I met a girl through online dating that I really liked. We chatted for a bit, then she asked if we could meet for dinner. I personally thought that I was too nervous on the first date, but she seemed to really like me enough to ask me to go see a movie with her. We texted a bit after that, with her asking me to visit her town (which was about 40 minutes away from the city) numerous times. Before our movie date, I ended up asking her if she was free, and we ended up spontaneously watching the movie a bit earlier.

I personally thought the second date went much better. She seemed very interested based on the way it ended and everything leading up until that point. I thought things were going really well, so I sent her a text thanking her for the movie and asking for a third date sometime during the week. That was basically a week ago, and there has been no response. I'm super confused because the date was firstly, only a movie date (how much damage could I do?), and secondly, a lot better than the first date which she seemed to overlook because she was interested in me. Plus, she also basically had me drive out to meet her, so I would have expected some response at the very least.

What should I do now? Should I try and send some "last resort" follow-up text? I really liked her a lot and thought she was one of the most compatible people I've met, should I just really move on despite everything until that final message?
