All steel is hard but steel has a melting point. If it is hard it should techincally been frozen at a different temperature.
So... does this mean that all hard metals are frozen
If steel can melt then if it is hard is it technically frozen?

Steel is not a single material. It is possible to separate the materials by melting a sample and reducing the temperature slowly so each ingredient freezes by itself. Steel also forms different crystalline forms at temperatures below freezing, a process called tempering.
