If Shere Khan and Bagheera fell in love with each other, wouldn't they have been a powerful couple?

I mean, they're both powerful, but there kinda' polar opposites of each other (assuming your talking about the new Jungle Book) and not in a opposites-attract way. They're also completely different species to, so, ya.
