But I have read some articles stating that stuttering can be inherited...that if one stutters...than others will stutter....My mom stuttered and my dad did.....and I did too...of course with much speech therapy I don't do it much anymore..unless I get upset....I have a 16month old...and I watch her mouth carefully.....most of her words are very fluent...although at her age they are fluent and flow...but of course I can't understand everything she says which is normal and has nothing to do with stuttering...but some of her words she has problems forming...but I know all children do this too....I used to stutter but my husband does not.....that's why I asked the question..
