Condoms are still considered the number 1 preventer of the transmission of STD's. However even though they work there is always the chance of transmission. Nothing is perfect. If he does not wash his hands after coming into contact with the infected area etc. (and touches you in your genital area) transmission can also occur.
As long as you use the condom right then you should be fine.
Even they cn b burst during mating.
make sure before purchasing condoms that they don't have tiny holes in them. you can tell this by looking at how the air in the packet is
you will only catch the STI only if you have come contact with the sperm. Since you are using a condom, which prevents the sperm to enter your vagina, you will safe, unless you have picked up a broken condom....

Dude shut up
100% you still have a risk on contracting, honestly if you want to spend the rest of your life with this guy go for it, if not dont do it , the chances on contracting are still to high, and if your going to have more partners after him and you dont check if you contracted this STI then you have the risk of infecting others without knowing which can land you some trouble
