If I thought about being in another Galaxy, It would be Instantaneous to me, so does thought surpass the speed of light?

Thoughts are built up of nerval impulses in the brain, which consists of electricity. Electricity in theory can travel at the speed of light, but it will face lots of resistance in any real-life situation. So while your thoughts may seems instantaneous, it's really slower than the speed of light. Besides, it takes a fraction of second to form a thought, and while I don't remember the exact speed, I am sure it was slower than the speed of light. Interesting question though.
